Privacy

Operator and privacy contact: Marvin Kamp. Necessary connection data, such as the IP address, request time, requested URL and browser information, is processed to deliver and protect this website. Website access logging is disabled in the project web server and its public proxy route. Hosting infrastructure may process technical connection data.

You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Contact the operator at the email address above for privacy requests.

The project pages and bugboard do not use analytics, advertising cookies, embedded third-party players or remote fonts. Images, uploads and scripts are served from this site. Network data is processed to deliver the pages. Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical connection data. Privacy questions can be sent to the operator.

Bugboard: public posts, uploads and security session

You can read reports and submit reports or comments without an account, email address or Discord login. Reports, comments, optional display names, YouTube links and uploaded media are public. The form asks you to acknowledge this before posting. Submitted content is stored on our VPS and remains visible until removed or moderated; contact the operator at the email address above for a removal request. The optional reply email is stored separately from public reports and is accessible only to the operator through a private administration tool. It is used only to follow up on your report; there are no automatic emails or mailing lists. Contact the operator to request removal of your contact address. Do not post saves, dumps, credentials, private files or personal information you do not want published.

Posting starts a necessary security session using the cookie mana_bug_session, limited to the bugboard API for 24 hours. It contains a signed random security nonce, not an account or display name. On HTTPS it is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite Strict. Temporary request-rate keys derived from the connection IP are held in application memory for up to one hour; the application does not write raw IP addresses or post bodies to its logs or database for rate limiting. No marketing or cross-site tracking use is made of this session.

Up to three attachments are allowed per report or comment: JPG, PNG or WebP screenshots up to 8 MiB each. New direct video uploads are currently disabled; the whole upload request is limited to 50 MiB. The server validates the actual file format. Uploaded images and videos are hosted here. YouTube URLs are shown as links only: no embedded player, thumbnail lookup or external video metadata request is added. Following a link opens the provider under its own policies.

External links to Patreon, Steam, Parsec and Discord leave this site. Payments are handled on Patreon under its own policies; this website does not collect payment information. Monthly memberships are recurring. Custom membership amounts are not automatically one-time payments. Any separate one-time offering is labelled and linked independently when available.

Independent fan-made mod

Mana Co-op Projects is an independent, unofficial fan project by mk1. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Square Enix or other rights holders. The games, names, characters, music, official artwork and original game assets remain the property of Square Enix and their respective rights holders.

Our Trials of Mana work is an add-on mod for a separately owned Windows/Steam copy of the game. It redirects player inputs to separate party members and adjusts co-op and camera behaviour. We do not distribute the original game, its executable, game assets or saves as part of our mod. An original copy is required. The mod is still experimental; no public download or full-campaign approval is announced.

Artwork and sources

Official game imagery is shown to identify the games and their worlds. It is not presented as footage or proof of a working co-op mod. Original rights remain with the respective rights holders.
